Kenyan football legend Victor Wanyama led an impactful masterclass session with the All-Stars team from Safaricom Chapa Simba Season 4 at the Ligi Ndogo Grounds in Nairobi.

The young players enjoyed both on-pitch and off-pitch priceless guidance from Wanyama as part of the build-up to the launch of Season 5 of Chapa Dimba which will be on 9th May in Kisumu County.

Wanyama shared practical advice on how young players can elevate their game, emphasizing the importance of discipline, consistency, and always giving their best effort.

He urged the players to take care of their bodies as professional athletes and to cultivate strong mental habits that support long-term success.

If opportunities like Safaricom Chapa Dimba were available when I was starting out, I would have gone even further in my career. So, I urge the players to grab this opportunity with both hands, work hard as you never know who is watching, said Wanyama.

Beyond football, Wanyama who recently announced his retirement from football, spoke about financial literacy, encouraging the players to make smart financial decisions early and to embrace a culture of saving and investing, no matter how small the amounts.

The session also featured an interactive on-pitch segment, where Wanyama, who is currently pursuing his UEFA coaching license, engaged directly with the players, demonstrating drills and techniques while offering real-time feedback.
