The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened applications for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) courses for the May 2026 intake.
In a statement, KUCCPS invited students who sat the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education as well as Form Four leavers from previous years to apply for courses offered in national polytechnics, technical training institutes, institutes of science and technology and other technical colleges.
The placement body said students can apply for various programmes regardless of their KCSE mean grade.
“With any KCSE mean grade, you can find a course,” KUCCPS said, encouraging eligible applicants to take advantage of the opportunity.
The agency noted that applications must be submitted through the KUCCPS student portal and set March 18, 2026 as the deadline for submissions.
How to Apply
Applicants have been advised to follow these steps when applying:
- Visit the KUCCPS student portal at students.kuccps.ac.ke.
- Log in using your KCSE index number, KCSE year, and password (usually your birth certificate number or KCPE index number).
- Once logged in, select the TVET courses section.
- Browse available courses offered in different technical institutions.
- Choose and submit the course you wish to apply for.
- Confirm your application and submit it before the deadline.
KUCCPS urged applicants to complete their submissions early to avoid last-minute system congestion.
