Motorists will continue paying the same prices for petrol, diesel and kerosene after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced that fuel prices will remain unchanged for the next review period.
In a statement issued on Friday, EPRA said the maximum retail pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene will remain unchanged from March 15 to April 14, 2026.
The regulator said the prices include the 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the Finance Act 2023, as well as the revised excise duty rates adjusted for inflation under the Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.
According to EPRA, the average landed cost of imported petroleum products increased during the review period.
The average landed cost of Super Petrol rose by 1.00 per cent, from $576.34 per cubic metre in January 2026 to $582.11 per cubic metre in February 2026.
The landed cost of Diesel increased by 8.46 per cent, from $586.80 per cubic metre to $636.45 per cubic metre, while Kerosene rose by 6.79 per cent, from $598.82 per cubic metre to $639.48 per cubic metre.
Despite the rise in international landing costs, EPRA said pump prices will remain stable for the period under review.
The authority added that it considered petroleum cargoes that were shipped and discharged between February 10 and March 10, noting that developments in the Middle East had not yet affected the pricing cycle.
EPRA reviews fuel prices monthly under the provisions of the Petroleum Act 2019, which mandates the regulator to set maximum retail prices for petroleum products in the country.
